One avenue that you may want to explore when redesigning your living room is adding shadings. Bringing these Hunter Douglas window coverings into your residence is a great way to brighten up any room and make it feel more inviting. Silhouette® Window Shadings are one way to do just that. This special style features soft fabric vanes that can be adjusted to varying degrees, which allows you to dictate the level of light and privacy throughout the day. The front and back sheers will also provide a view of the exterior while obscuring what can be seen inside your home.
When customizing these horizontal window coverings, there are many ways to mix and match characteristics in order to achieve the desired look. Pirouette® Window Shadings are similar to the Silhouette® in that they too utilize fabric vanes. However, what sets this style apart is that the front-facing vanes are attached to a single backing instead of being gracefully positioned between two sheers. The unique Invisi-Lift™ system allows for this operation without needing obstructing tapes or cords, which can also make these wonderful pieces for family rooms.
